AD2048R series is the most advanced dense structure analog matrix switching/control system. It features comprehensive functions, Pre-installation and modularization of the system, and is designed for the largest and most demanding CCTV users. The switching/control system based on microprocessor makes the whole electronic monitoring system automated and can be controlled freely by one or more persons.


AD2048R series has powerful macro programming function, even the most complex and demanding system installation is very easy. Each administrator can customize keyboard functions on the AD2079 keyboard to perform complex multitasking. A single CPU can control a complete 1024-channel analog video input and 128-channel analog output CCTV system. Multiple 16-channel input and 4-channel output modules can be arbitrarily combined into a pre-assembly system. The networking programming of multi-system can freely switch and control up to 8192 input paths, which meets the highest system capacity requirement at present.


WINDOWS-based system setup software makes the steps of setting and accessing system parameters extremely simple. Graphical user interface software provides simple and clear management of icon alarm. Mouse and touch screen extend CCTV monitoring management to every corner. Optional hotkeys provide backup support to ensure continuous operation of the system.

Product function:

Flexible settings. It adopts plug-in card, modular and dense structure with exquisite raw materials. It has 16 input paths and 8 output paths.


Field control. Users can control the output of fixed or variable speed spherical cameras, panels, electric lenses, auxiliary relays, and 128 presets for each video input.


System programming. The main keyboard of the system can be programmed through the screen menu. The CPU video output for programming can be directly connected to the monitor or controlled by switching/control system to display the monitor.


RS-485 communication and cascade. Compatible with 98% fast-ball protocols in China, support CY protocol, built-in 8 common protocols (PEL-D, PEL-P, Samsung fast-ball protocol), no additional protocol converter. Support multiple brand matrix cascade functions. There are several standard RS485/RS232 ports to communicate with keyboard, alarm interface unit, network system CPU, VCR control equipment, other interfaces, computers and so on. Data rates can be set for each port: 1200, 2400, 4800 or 9600 baud. Each port can be extended to four ports by ADl981 or AD2081 channel expander, and the maximum number of ports can be expanded to 40.


Optional screen display. Each monitor can display date/time, video input number, user-defined video input or pre-positioned Title (16 characters), alarm title and monitor status. The system provides three date formats: MM/DD/YY, DD/MM/YY or YY/MM/DD. The screen display is in black and white. Users can set whether to display the following contents: video input number and monitor status, video input title and date/time. The control of display text includes horizontal/vertical movement and brightness.


Optional Mann code communication. The board with RS232 interface can support 8 RJ45 multi-function connection modules, support TCP/IP, RS232, RS485, Man code communication protocol to achieve multi-function expansion.


English and Chinese titles of the camera. Matrix has Chinese and English character superposition function, supports Chinese character library, supports AD Eddie Chinese character input software, uses Japanese imported full chip chip, character jitter-free. For each video input, the user can specify an 8-bit Chinese character number to replace the default video input number (e.g. a certain intersection). This can help operators distinguish video input, especially in high-rise buildings or networked systems.


General tour. 64 patrols can be set up to call to the monitor at any time. Each Patrol has 64 video input locations, each of which also includes an independent dwell time, a preset target and an auxiliary contact action. The patrol can run forward or backward. The preset scene of the same video input and/or the same camera can be inserted into the patrol multiple times. Each patrol can be connected to form a sequence of more than 64 inputs. Video input that is not connected to the monitor will be automatically ignored.


Group switching. Group switching involves switching multiple video inputs to multiple continuous monitor outputs at the same time. Sixty-four independent group switching, each consisting of 16 video outputs (each with a preset bit and an auxiliary relay action), can be invoked manually or as part of a general patrol.


Automatic alarm call - 1024 alarm input. The alarm input can be programmed to switch any video input or group of video input to any one or more outputs. Each alarm input includes a target (preset scene), auxiliary contact action and residence time. Each video output can choose one of several alarm display/removal methods.


Alarm contact list. For alarm input number and monitor number, the camera image is invoked by programmed alarm contact list. Four alarm contact tables are programmable.


Alarm display mode. Users can choose alarm display mode for each video output.

Maintenance mode: display the first alarm until it is cleared, and then the alarms are queued in sequence.

(2) Sequential mode: sequential display of multiple alarms, each display for a certain time.

(3) Sequence and display: display the first alarm on a monitor until the alarm is cleared. Other alarms are displayed sequentially on the next monitor (all alarms are activated).

Alarm clearance mode. Users can define an alarm clearance method for each video output.

Confirmation: The alarm will be cleared only after the operator confirms the alarm manually.


(2) Automatic Clearance: Clear the alarm automatically 20 seconds after the alarm input stops (if there is no manual confirmation of the alarm).

Immediate automatic clearance: Clear the alarm immediately after the alarm stops (if the alarm has not been manually confirmed). As a safety measure, the alarm can not be confirmed manually at this time.


Systematic division. The channel permissions of keyboard, video input and video output are clearly defined, which further enhances the flexibility of the system. Channel permissions can restrict access to remote systems. The division of the system includes:

Keyboard to Monitor Channel: The selected keyboard cannot access the selected monitor.

Monitor to Camera Channel: The selected monitor cannot display the selected camera image.

(3) Keyboard to camera channel: The selected keyboard can not call or control the selected camera.

(4) Keyboard to camera control channel: The selected keyboard can not control the function of the selected camera scene.


Password and priority level. Keyboard or user can specify 16 levels to control the remote camera scene. The system can have up to 32 user passwords, each user has its own password. Restrict user's access rights according to user's priority level.


Optional computer workstations and networking. The stand-alone multimedia package (including CD, video card, digital-analog connector and wiring) can realize the functions of cloud mirror control, video switching, alarm linkage and electronic map for a single computer. The network version Multimedia Suite (including CD-ROM and network module) can realize the functions of cloud mirror control, video switching and IP access to the matrix.


Power supply settings. Dual power supply design, small calorific value, strong heat dissipation, strong voltage load, no noise fan, good stability.


External process. Matrix cabinet adopts all aluminium wire drawing process, light weight, high-grade appearance, 10 years non-oxidation treatment process, matrix keyboard adopts all aluminium wire drawing process as a whole.


Internal process. Good material selection for PCB and full plate gold plating process. The slot is imported from Japan with strong antioxidant capacity and long service life.
